President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday chaired the Council of State meeting holding at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The opportunity afforded him time to meet the former head of interim government, Ernest Shonekan, former presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, former military Head of State, Abdulsalam Abubakar, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki and other members of the council, which consist of past leaders of Nigeria.

The Council of State meeting usually advises the President on the affairs of the country.

The meeting is coming few days after Obasanjo accused Buhari of behaving like late Sani Abacha.
