My dear, whoever tells you that there is no such thing as wickedness and oppositions in the life of a believer, is not telling you the truth.The truth is that wickedness is real, oppositions and the obstacles of life are real.But more real is our victory in Jesus Christ.Praying and fasting is a deep measure that handle deep mysteries.
Praying and fasting is a platform for the generation of spiritual strength against the days of adversity.Since we know that the battle of life has no time table, it becomes wisdom that we often build adequate spiritual energy reserved against the day of battle.When Jesus finished from 40days of prayer and fasting, his level of command changed.There was a release of great grace which took Him to a greater dimension of Power and the bible says "and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about".Fasting therefore is not just staying away from food but it includes fervent prayer and returning God's word back to Him for answers.
