Proverbs 4:23
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

This is a very profound instruction. It's profound because what every man,woman and child will become(whether good or evil) begins in the heart.Other translations will say Guard your mind or protect your heart.What this invariable means is that it is our individual responsibility to guard our hearts.If decisions are going to be made or not,if you will commit that sin or not,if you will marry that man or woman or not,if you see yourself as successful or not,if you will become a great influencer or an agent of change or not..it begins in your heart.If only bad thoughts and cruel intentions fill your heart then it's only natural that you'll keep doing bad things and carry out wicked intentions.In the same vein if you deliberately allow positive and good thoughts to flood your heart then you will do good things.

The bible says:Be not deceived,God is not mocked;Whatsoever a man soweth,thou shall he also reap.

Simply means if you sow evil thoughts in your heart then in time you will begin to manifest evil .So to change the issues of your life you have to take a critical look at what goes in heart.


Life is a test,a trust and a temporary assignment.
