Turkish giants Fenerbahce are reportedly
keen to follow up on their capture of
Nigeria international midfielder Victor
Moses from Chelsea with a move for
Blues midfielder Danny Drinkwater.
The 28-year-old versatile midfielder has
completed his loan move to Turkish
giants on Saturday, with the African
player penning a deal with the Turkish
giants until the end of the 2019-2020
campaign.
However, according to the Daily Mail,
Turkish giants have also launched an
enquiry to see whether it would be
possible to secure services of Danny
Drinkwater during the January transfer
window.
The 28-year-old has not featured for the
Blues since the Community Shield game
earlier in August.
Last week, it was claimed that the West
London team had ‘received no January
offers’ for English anchorman Danny
Drinkwater, who was signed from the
Foxes back in the August 2017.
Meanwhile, Juventus centre-back Daniele
Rugani recently discussed the speculation
rumoured him with a move to Stamford
Bridge.
It was reported towards the end of last
campaign that the Italian defender
regretted not completing a move to
Chelsea during the summer transfer
window.
The Italy international defender had been
strongly rumoured with a move to West
London following the appointment of
Sarri, who had been aware of his qualities
during his time at Napoli.
