Danny Drinkwater has been linked with a
deadline day move to West Ham , and we fully
support this idea.
It’s been made abundantly clear by Maurizio
Sarri, both in his squad selections and his
actual words in press conferences, that he
thinks the English midfielder isn’t up to it, and
would happily get rid of him.
With plenty of midfielders on our books at the
moment, even after the loss of Cesc
Fabregas, it wouldn’t be any blow to the
squad, and we’ve seen all too many times in
the last few years that West Ham have more
money than sense.
If they want to buy him, or even just pay his
wages for a few months on loan, we should be
biting their hands off.
He’s not a bad player, and could do well for
them. So let him go and get settled in, and
they’ll probably pay silly money for him in the
summer.
