â€œCarlsonâ€™s already got a reputation for flirting with racism, but last week, he took it to a racy new level.â€

Stephen Colbert has no time for Tucker Carlsonâ€™s racist rhetoric.

On Wednesdayâ€™s broadcast of â€œThe Late Show,â€ Colbert called out the Fox News host for ranting last week that immigrants make America â€œdirtier.â€

â€œCarlsonâ€™s already got a reputation for flirting with racism, but last week, he took it to a racy new level,â€ said Colbert.

Carlson, whose advertisers have fled the show over the comment, was â€œnothing if not a little racist who could,â€ Colbert added.

Colbert also poked fun at Carlson for ignoring the biggest news of the day â€• the sentencing hearing for President Donald Trumpâ€™s former national security adviser Michael Flynn â€” and instead choosing to cover â€œhard newsâ€ about gingerbread cookies.
