5 Types Of 'Friends' To Avoid
1. The Negative One:
Everyone gets in a mood sometimes, but constantly having a negative outlook on life gets to be a bit much. In this friendship you may find yourself constantly having conversations that seem more like you're their therapist. Maybe when you want to share something positive or are in a good mood, you find him or her counteracting it with something negative or busting your mood right away. He or she is probably never happy for themselves, nevermind her being happy for you or any other friends they have.
2. The Gossiper:
This friend always needs to know everyone's business, whether they are friends or not. He or she will try to get as much out of you as possible, even if it's about someone he or she doesn't like. They also have a tendency to spread people's secrets like wildfire. Be careful what you tell them, because you never know when it will slip out.
3. The Two-Facer:
Sure we all get angry and talk about our friends from time to time, but this friend is someone who takes talking about her “friends†to a whole new level. They will quickly jump to talk about anyone even someone they claim to be close with. They may even jump to talk about someone you're close with. He or she is the type of person who you can never trust because they most likely also talks about you to other people.
4. The Attention Seeker:
Everyone is a little self-absorbed sometimes, specifically when it comes to something they are proud of. This friend will never let you have a moment in the spotlight because it always needs to be on them. They are always focused on themselves and sharing details that no one actually cares about. They may be loud and obnoxious, especially around boys or a group of friends.
5. The Competitive One:
Friendly competition is good, right? But there comes a point where the line needs to be drawn. This type of friendship is completely exhausting because everything is always them trying to one-up you. No matter what you say or do, they will try to make it seem like they have done something better. It is very rare you will see them be happy for something you have accomplished because they always needs to be on top.
