ASABA – KEY actors of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta Central Senatorial District, Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Engr Sam Adjogbe and Chief Great Ogboru, have delivered two local government areas to President Mohammadu Buhari in the last Saturday presidential election.

The results as announced by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC in Asaba, Ughelli North and Ethiope East Local Government Areas were won by them for President Mohammadu Buhari.

President Mohammadu Buhari polled 24,193 votes against the the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who scored 16,140 votes.

While in Ethiope East, the home local government of the APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ogboru, Mohammadu Buhari scored 13, 854 and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar polled 8,294 votes to come second in the two local government.

Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor who spoke to newsmen, said “Everybody is excited because we have the opportunity now, to elect the President and National Assembly members of our choice and very sure we win”.

Executive Director, Projects of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Engr. Samuel Adjogbe described the exercise peaceful and orderly, saying “everybody was calm and voted according to the requirements of INEC.

“I expect Mr. President to win, this is just a re-confirmation we should do, so he should go back for another four years.”

Omo-Agege faults Oboro over alleged threat to life

Governorship candidate of the APC, Chief Great Ogboru described the exercise as peaceful, saying “I expect that we shall win.”

Senator representing Delta Central at the National Assembly, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege expressed satisfaction with the large turnout of voters at his unit.

Omo-Agege, said: “Our expectation is high and we are confident that we will take the day.”

Stella Okotete who spoke to newsmen in Ekrerhavwen-Agbarho, described the exercise as peaceful, expressing hope that President Mohammadu Buhari would win the presidential polls.

Okotete expressed hope that the APC is determined to take the State to the next level, adding that President Mohammadu Buhari meant well for the country.
