Listen guys, don’t date for too long, there is no award for the best dating couple of the year. You only need some good time to learn about each other’s character, purpose, goals, and visions for life after you have prayed and heard from God before starting the relationship, that’s all. Just some good time to learn the areas of weakness that God has positioned you to strengthen in each other, while putting financial, emotional and entrepreneurial structures in place to support your marriage.
Some people just want to study the whole destiny of their partner before they can start planning towards marriage, no matter how much you try to learn and all you think you have learnt already, marriage will keep introducing a new 5 credit unit courses you have never seen nor studied before. A relationship is supposed to help you learn the basic things you two will need to sustain the marriage journey, it is not the destination. The objective is for you to master all the little important details about each other, so you can be better armed to approach any marriage challenges that may come your way.
