Chelsea have reportedly become 'increasingly confident' regarding their chances of signing Juventus forward
Gonzalo Higuain .
The Argentine is currently on loan at AC Milan where he has netted eight goals from 21 outings, but the 31-year-old is said to be open to making the switch to the Premier League in January.
Chelsea are in the market for a new forward and according to Sky Sports News , the Blues feel that they are moving closer to adding a fresh face to their frontline.
The report suggests that a loan transfer with the option to buy is the most likely resolution for Chelsea and Juventus, with any future fee expected to be in the region of Â£32m.
Alvaro Morata could leave Stamford Bridge if Chelsea are able to get a deal over the line over the next two weeks.
