FIRS Director Arrested by EFCC for N2.1 Billion FraudByÂ ModÂ -Â 20 minutes agoÂ -Â [Â CrimeÂ ]

Coordinating Director, Support Service Group of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Peter Hena, has been arrested byÂ The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for an alleged N2.1 billion fraud.

Nine members of the revenue organization were cross examined by the EFCC in connection to the matter.A source disclosed that Hena reported at the commission's central station in Abuja yesterday.

EFCC's spokesman, Tony Orilade, affirmed the examination, yet couldn't confirm the veracity of Hena's presence.
