The United States said Thursday it would bar the entry of Chechnya’s prime minister for allegedly orchestrating human rights violations in the Russian republic.
Under a US law that requires activity against remote authorities over human rights concerns, the United States reported that Chairman Muslim Khuchiyev and his close family will be ineligible for US visas on the off chance that they apply.
The State Department said in an explanation that it had "solid data that Muslim Khuchiyev was engaged with torment."
