Nigeria, JAN, entered into a strategic partnership with the African Capital Alliance Foundation, ACA Foundation, among other partners to empower 50 members of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, in Venture in Management Programme, ViMP.

ViMP is an annual program of JAN designed as a one-week intensive “mini-MBA†session to introduce selected members of the National Youth Service Corps to the different facets of managing a business, making crucial business decisions and developing skills for general management,with a goal to prepare NYSC members for the world of business as managers and entrepreneurs.
The program which is led by facilitators from the Lagos Business School includes rigorous and stimulating classroom meetings.
Speaking at a networking dinner organised by JAN for the NYSC members, sponsors and alumni of the mini-MBA recently in Lagos, Executive Director, JAN, Mrs. Simi Nwogugu, said VIMP was designed for outstanding youth corp members who have demonstrated leadership potential.

Nwogugu stated: “ We opened up application in October, and we got thousands of application from across the country, Accenture went through the applications and selected the top 100.
“Our sponsoring partner ACA foundation, interviewed the top 70 and picked 50.â€
