Beloved, your heart is a fountain of vision that needs to be kept carefully. Your heart is so big that it can accommodate both the good and the evil. Let it be known to you that you are a product of your thoughts. What goes on in your mind determines to a large extent what you do and who you are. Therefore, you have to be very careful of what you dwell upon in your heart. Your heart is at liberty to think on anything either good or bad. But it is your responsibility to ensure that what goes on within you
is always good. For you to have a clean heart that will always bring out good thoughts, you need to load your heart with the word of God. 'I have hidden your word in my heart that i might not sin against you. Psalm 119 vs 11. 'Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms,hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to GOD. 'Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your
mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.
You have to continually renew your mind with the word of GOD and positively change your thought pattern. With a clean heart, you will be able to decide and accept what God wants for you. And if your heart is so polluted that what comes out of it is always evil, then, there is an urgent need for you to ask for a clean heart. 'Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.' Psalm 51 vs 10
