Nnamdi Kanu reacts to violence in APC Ogun rallyBy Mod - 6 minutes ago - [ Update ]

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday reacted as angry members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, pelted the party’s national leaders with stones in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The APC leaders were stoned with materials suspected to be shoes and stones as Buhari raised the hand of APC governorship candidate, Dapo Abiodun during the party’s campaign rally yesterday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

As a result of the violence, activities at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, were paused for some minutes as bodyguards shielded the president to avoid being hit by objects being thrown at him and other party members.

Reacting, Kanu wondered why the military wasn’t deployed to the scene of the event.

In a tweet, Kanu also alleged that the Nigerian Army killed two innocent people in Imo State, while abducting a man and his wife in Aba.

He tweeted: “Jubril/Buhari was stoned yesterday in Ogun State but nobody was shot and the army have not been deployed to kill people. But the same yesterday in Imo State, two innocent people were shot dead by the Nigerian army. This morning this same army abducted a man and his wife in Aba.”
