To be candid I am highly impressed with the method Independent National Electoral Commission ,INEC, used in conducting this year’s polls. It was free and fair in Epe Local Government area of Lagos State. The National Assembly, NASS, final results have been announced here. On the presidential poll, I wish anyone who will emerge the winner well.

I appreciate the almighty God for the successful election. It was peaceful amidst tight security in the area where I voted. I believe the process was eventful and I hope subsequent elections will bear some marks of improvement. I am looking forward to future elections whereby vote buying and snatching of ballot boxes will be nearly eliminated.
Mr. Femi Adelaja, Senior
It was a shameful exercise given the incidents of violence that marred the election.
It is sad that people were being flogged and intimidated to vote against their choice. What we witnessed yesterday in Lagos was shocking. Is that how Nigeria would be taken to the next level?

I monitored the election as an observer in Lagos.
What happened in Lagos yesterday across some polling units was a reflection of the kind of leadership we have and the type of leadership we may get if APC leaders are re-elected. However, I am happy that Buhari has been rejected by Nigerians.

I have to congratulate Nigerians for refusing to be intimidated by all the arsenals employed to frustrate the election. Nigerians were disappointed that despite the postponement, there were technical challenges with the voting process. No matter how people look at it, this election is the worst to be conducted since the 2011 election.
Mr. Emmanuel Otobo, Businessman
People voted amid fears. The election could have been better than what we had if the actors with federal might had played according to the rules. The military should be congratulated for not responding to the cases of ballot box snatching with reckless killings. I don’t think a lot of people found the exercise pleasing.
