FAITH
(please read to the end because of GOD)
Faith comes by hearing and doing the word of GOD and when you hear and don't practicalise you are deceiving yourself. Faith also comes when the word of GOD prevails over the thinking process and it works by love;it expresses itself through love(purity and obedience).Faith doesn't work with unforgiveness;if we are not forgiving the power of faith is short circuited.Hope,love(purity and obedience),trust and petience(endurance and perseverance)are the bodies or completion of faith;they work together. HOPE makes one to have faith and faith makes one to keep on hoping. PATIENCE greases the friction of anger and yields endurance while hoping.PERSEVERANCE makes one not to give up in times of temptation and trials. LOVE is the fundament and the ultimate because without love(obedience)you can't please GOD and when you don't please GOD(ie far from HIM) HIS blesses might not reach you and can't get what you are hoping for and that result in being a prisoner of hope(ie you are hoping to get something from GOD whereas you have no regard for HIS purity and that makes one to be imprisoned in his hope).We are no longer conscious of our sins that is why we come to GOD with our petition and complaints without any regard for HIS purity and because of that HE doesn't answer or silent to our prayers and we end up criticising,giving up, backsliding,being unfaithful and angry,and kicking against HIM. Love brings out obedience because the commandments of GOD is/are summarised and concluded in love. OBEDIENCE is the number one condition to please GOD. Our GOD is ever ready to help and pamper us with HIS love but our impurity (far from HIM)prevents that.For example, when you beg something from someone and he stretches his hand to give what you begged for, if his hand couldn't reach your hand because you are far, wouldn't you come closer to him so that you can get what you begged for since it's very important to you?. That is how it is between us and GOD ,because behind our situation lies GOD'S purpose 1John3:9-10 says the LORD is not slow to do what HE has promised, as some think, because he doesn't want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins. Love is obedience and obedience is love and love is purity.obedience brings out love while love makes one to obey and the outcome is purity. TRUST is the prove of love and one can't have faith without trust and without faith one can't please GOD because no one has ever seen GOD, it is through faith that we know there is GOD .Therefore, trust is the prove of that faith. Faith is something that is so difficult to have. Do we have faith because HE has done miracle for others? Is that true faith?,or do we love HIM because HE has done something good in our lives?, Or do we love HIM in our good times or prosperity and in our bad situation we kick against HIM?is that true love?, can we displease our bodily desire and please HIM to show gratitude or prove our love?, do we judge our present condition and end up being hopeless because our problems are beyond capability or very impossible for man to solve and therefore makes us to be unfaithful to GOD?,does our impurity makes us be a prisoner of hope?;we end up blaming GOD not knowing the cause. Do we kick against GOD in our bad condition saying HE has forgotten, abandoned and forsaken us?.No He doesn't. For how can HE forget, abandone and forsake the people HE was flogged,spit upon, humiliated,mocked,insulted,embarrassed,whipped,tortured and crucified for(HIS only crime was HIS love for us).It depends on us,just apply the mechanism of obedience,love,patience,trust and faith. We are in a big ocean and we are thirsty for water.Do we give up in our trial and say HE is temping us? No HE doesn't tempt, HE test(HE purifies your faith) . HE allows the devil to tempt and that allowance is called test or punishment because a good father punishes the child he loves in order to correct him so that he wouldn't go astray or HE trains you for battle so that you will use the strongest bow (psalm 18:34).Can we overcome the thinking process? no HE can do it.....no HE can't do it.....no HE can't do it perfect ...,is it possible...,how will it happen...,no I don't deserve it from GOD....,no I'm not worthy of it because of my sins.Just apply the mechanisms, HE is a GOD of perfection.Are we the type that forget HIM in our good condition and when everything becomes abnormal we remember HIM?;apply the mechanism of perseverance when things are good;or are we the type that forget, abandone,criticise and question HIM in our bad condition and HE still overlook our impatience and foolishness and answer us;apply the mechanism of perseverance when things are bad(patience);are we the the type that say'I don't need to do anything, I have faith in GOD, let me relax GOD will do everything'.My dear if your situation is something that needs your own help wake up from sleep and work or study as if it depends on you and pray as if it depends on GOD. Pray so that what you worked will come into fulfillment,be blessed and yield a good result;or are we the type that challenge HIM negatively?;HE doesn't want you to do that business or marry that person or be a doctor, nurse, police etc or go to that university or HE does want you to do something and has been talking to you through your conscience but you have been objecting it and end up being angry with your GOD; remember HE is OMNIPRESENT,HE sees the future and wants the best for you,let HIS will be done. Sometimes good prophecies don't come to pass because of our impurity and unfaithfulness;do we just believe and unknowingly depend on the faith of the prophet?but HE overlooks our sins and still answer us but don't be sure of the LORD'S forgiveness that you go on committing one sin after another.Don't think that HIS mercy is so great that HE will forgive your sins no matter how many they are. HE does show mercy, but HE also shows HIS furious anger with sinners(Sirach 5:5-7).Are we the type that take advantage of HIS love and mercy?. 'Let me do it after I will go for confession or ask for forgiveness;let me leave GOD behind and teach him a lesson'. Don't tempt your GOD;HE reads your heart,if HE punishes you where will you run to? Who will help you?.leave revenge for HIM.
Faith is our ear, eye and our reasoning. Without faith grace is useless. Faith is controlled by fear of GOD(obedience)not by mind, flesh and bodily desire.When the flesh is speaking what is contrary to your faith you cast it out. Faith is so rich that it can accommodate a thief,prostitute,mulderer,ritualist etc when he/she heareth the word of GOD and doeth it for it is the word of GOD that impregnates one and makes one to obey GOD,and when it enters miracle cometh. Get connected to grace and how to get connected to grace is to live in faith and how to live in faith is to be controlled by faith(obedience)not by flesh. When your mind and flesh control you the grace of GOD which is your inheritance becomes strange to you and what comes is the wrath of GOD.Faith,if it is alone and includes no action it is uselessness,it also works with charity(James 2:14-17).The devil is beggarly and weak so he can't deceive you when you work by faith and not by flesh and mind,he gains power when you work by flesh and mind, and when he gains power he hinders prosperity and brings problems. Some people are successful while some are not.we don't have the same fate. Be grateful you are better than some people. Everybody in this world has problem. Nobody's joy is complete , nothing is complete in one's life; one must lack something.A rich man without good health,a rich ritualist without peace, a loving couple without a child,pretty lady without a husband, a famous star without the fear of GOD, graduate without a job and so on. Show gratitude to what GOD has done and HE will do greater.
