LOGICAL FOOD FOR THOUGHT
The phenomenon that can't be figured out is this "one must die one day and must be judged by GOD based on what one did on earth and the outcome either lead to Heaven or hell. Heaven is an everlasting happiness and hell is an everlasting torment with the unbearable words 'no hope '. Then, the logical questions are these: what is the essence of committing sin?;what is the essence of risking the real self(the soul)?; why is one subjected to the body's desires?; why is one carried away by worldly things that are vanity?; why is one subjected to the devil's voice and object the spirit voice that will be a witness on the of one's judgement?; why is one adamant to HIS voice ?;why is one so busy pursuing, thinking and doing things that the deceiver wants rather than what the real self(the soul) needs?; why is one storing treasures on earth rather than in heaven where one would be rewarded?; why do one finds it so difficult to do the things the spirit wants which the real self needs, give it time to be worthy to enter the kingdom of GOD?.
He/she is the richest, the most intelligent, handsome/beautiful, successful, famous etc. Can those adjectives be used in exchanged with your soul?; can it prevent you from dying?.Then, what are humans? Puff of smoke. Alive today but tomorrow no more. Then, what is the essence of killing, taking bribery, stealing, prostituting, lying, duping people(yahoo) etc just to get vanity(money) risking our soul?; why are we fornicating, masturbating, practising homos*xuality and lesbianism, sleeping with another man's/woman's wife/husband just to satisfy the body that will not suffer with the soul(the real self)?;why can't we willingly and whole heartedly cast it out when such desire and urge comes since the authority has been given to us by GOD and deviate from the root cause that gives room to such desires and urge(e.g pornographic pictures, films, songs etc)?;why do we spend more time pressing phone,watching pornographic songs and films, immoral and ungodly films and spend less time in praying and reading the bible if at all?; why do we worry ourselves of the things of the world rather than of heaven, our eternal home?; why do we do and wear the things that please man neglecting GOD'S choice and opinion?;why are we hypocrite in our action; we don't do what we preach or advise?.
Why does it hurt to hear that JESUS is coming very soon?; why does it hurt to hear that hell is real?; Why does it hurt to hear repent from your sins, when you are told the the truth about the things you do?; why does it hurt when the pastor preaches about repentance instead of prophesying your purpose of coming to church(prosperity,money etc) forgetting the bible verse that says "seek the kingdom of GOD first and every other thing shall be added onto you"?;why does it hurt when your conscience tells you that what you are doing or about to do is bad?; why does it hurt when the truth is preached, you end up translating it to your satisfaction ' GOD sees the heart not what one wears '. Luring others to sin.
It is because, it is against the devil incarnate(the body) desire but the desires of the spirit because the body is either incarnated by the devil to kill,destroy and lure others to sin or incarnated by the holy spirit to help, bless, convert and lure people to the kingdom of GOD. St Paul says that when I want to do good I see myself doing what I don't want to do; the spirit is willing but the body is weak. They are enemies. It is fighting to have your soul in hell while the latter(the spirit of GOD living in you) is fighting and helping the soul(your real self) to adhere to GOD'S commands so that it wouldn't perish.
Do you feel ashamed to preach or spread the gospel?. But what is the essence of living? Is it not to please GOD in order to be with HIM at the end of your journey on earth? Will you allow it to be used against you by the devil at the end of your journey?. Thanks for your time.
