When sultry actress and entrepreneur, Nuella Njubigbo got married to producer and actor, Tchidi Chikere after the latter broke up with his ex wife, Sophia, many believed that her marriage would not even last a year. But five years down the line, the reverse has been the case as Nuella’s marriage is still waxing stronger.
In a chat with NollyNow, the light-skinned actress revealed that marriage and motherhood has taught her things she never knew before. “Marriage has made me a better person; more responsible and focused person. I don’t just things again because I want to do them. Any decision I’m taking now I will ensure it benefits those around me. Marriage also has made me to be more hard working. If I am not married perhaps, I wouldn’t have been able to think of establishing my clothing line. I would have been jumping from one movie set to another. But now, I m thinking about the future of my children,†the actress said.
Nuella, who has been missing in the big screen in recent times because of her ‘NuellAfrik’, a collection of top notch clothes, handbags, and accessories, all made in African prints which she launched about three years ago, said she’s returning to her first love-acting. Asked to recount how she handled the scandal that trailed her marriage, Nuella said “nobody would have taken it easily. But when you know yourself, and when you know who you are, no matter what people would say about you, it wouldn’t get at you.â€
“You will feel bad, especially when you know that somethings that are said about you were not true,â€she added. Recall that the beautiful actress who revealed that she will be celebrating her fifth marriage anniversary any time from now, was accused of her husband, Tichidi from his ex wife, Sophia.
