(Genesis 19)Verse 1-2 interprets that we should be generous, charitable and not hostile, in that way we may welcome an Angel of GOD. But if we are harsh, we might chase away our blessings and bring problems for ourselves. If Lot hadn't be charitable and not hostile with the Angels, he might have been among those that were destroyed.
Verse 3-4 interprets that irrespective of the circumstance around us or consequences that might result from the good we are doing, we should always defend, protect and stand for the truth and render help when needed.
Verse 7-8 interprets being sacrificial to one another and to GOD. Lot suggested his v*rg*n daughters in replacement with the Angels of GOD
Verse 9-10 taught that we should be watchful and mind the way we talk and react to people who you don't know who they are (reflecting to the people that wanted to have s*x with the Angel of GOD)
Verse 11-12 taught that we should always heed to GOD'S warning and do not take it for granted
Verse 13-14 taught that our charity yields GOD'S blessings because it was Lot's charity and non hostile that made the Angel that GOD sent to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah review their purpose and saved them from the destruction. We should always be serious in the things of GOD in order to review HIS good purposes and fulfil the purpose in us.
Verse 21-22 taught that generosity, giving open doors of blessings. Sacrificial giving can make one become rich and it covers multitude of sins
Verse taught about GOD'S patience to our sins. When we don't acknowledge our sins and constantly continue sinning not having remorse, GOD'S wrath will befall and there will not be anyone to help. Is it the devil that wants your destruction or your fellow human? Nobody but HIM alone.
Verse 27-28 interprets that we should always be prepared for GOD'S coming because of the evil and abominable things that are presently happening.
Verse 29-30 interprets that GOD saved lot because of Abraham based on Abraham's faith,interceding prayers and above all his righteousness. Interceding for one another contributes a lot in people's life because our interceding prayers impulses GOD to help, convert and rebuild those we are interceding for based on our request. And your consistency in praying for people reminds GOD of helping them and the good intention you have towards people to render help or anything can make GOD to grant you your heart desires even if you didn't ask for it from GOD. And also if we can be serious with GOD a lot of souls will be saved because GOD'S kept Abraham in mind while saving Lot because of his righteousness and prayer even though Lot was also a righteous man. In other words, our actions preach more than words
Verse 31-32 taught that when we are living our lives we shouldn't neglect our children. We should inculcate GOD'S knowledge and morals in them(reflecting to Lot's daughters)
Verse 35-36 taught that when the situation around us seems impossible, we shouldn't neglect GOD and do it in our own way which is sinful(reflect to Lot's daughters sleeping with there father), but acknowledge that there is nothing impossible for GOD to do by believing and having trust, faith in HIM coupled with persistence in prayer and patience no matter the magnitude of the impossibility in the eyes of man. In other words, don't allow your situation to decide for you but let GOD be for there is nothing impossible for HIM to do.
Verse 37-38 taught about those that their wives have only girls but no boy and those that their wives are barren, they should acknowledge GOD by their believe, trust, faith, perseverance and patience and shouldn't do against GOD'S command by marrying another wife or do anything ungodly
