(A) Someone once asked me how do GOD speak?
GOD speaks in so many ways. Let me give
examples of three men GOD spoke to in different
ways- Moses(through the burning Bush but the
bush was not burning) Exodus 3 vs 1-4, Ezekiel-
Ezekiel 2 vs 1-2, Paul- Acts 9 vs 1-6
He speaks in differerent ways. Through birds
(nature in general) , the mad, dreams e.t.c
(B) Why do people not hear him speak?
1. Their heart is far from GOD- Matthew 15 vs 8
2. John 8 vs 42-47- JESUS said to them, "If GOD
were your Father, you would love me, for I came from GOD and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear. what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? He who belongs to GOD hears what GOD says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
(C) How do I hear him speak?
Step of FAITH to take if you want to hear him speak.
1. Believe that he exists- Hebrews 11vs 6
and give your life to him. Let him be Lord over your life- Romans 10 vs 9-10
2. Total submission of oneself(by surrending your life to JESUS and confessing your sins)Proverbs 28 vs 13and James 4 vs 7-8
3. Pray always- 1st Thessalonians 5 vs 17
4. Fasting- Matthew 17 vs 21 and Matthew 6 vs 16-18
5. Daily BIBLE Reading- Joshua 1vs8
6. Allow the HOLYSPIRIT teach you- John 14vs26
7.. Baptism- Mark 1vs4-5
Note-Every believer must have the HOLYSPIRIT.
