Glory2019:Okay, we know the most common one: most women lie about the “O†word. But there are other things besides that the modern woman lies about. Very often! THEIR first gig For most adult women, the first s*xual experience is unforgettable and probably the best ever. Even if they have not kept in touch with their first man, they remember him with fondness if he did not leave them pregnant and stranded with a baby. But will they ever tell their man this? Never. Studies show the average woman lies about the age at which she was disv*rg*ned, adding anything between 2 and 10 years to the age. For instance, if a woman got disv*rg*ned at 14, she is likely to put the figure at 20 to her current man. Men, on the other hand, openly boast about their earlier s*xual conquests. That they check out other men A man might be so close to the girl in his life that he would point out other women’s body parts that he finds attractive and everybody would have a good laugh. On the other hand, a woman would never do that. If she thinks the guy next door has a cute ass, she never, ever mentions it to the man in her life. Not only would she not mention it, she would never ever even make the blunder of oogling the attractive derriere when their man is around. Studies show women make lewd jokes about other men when they are with girlfriends just as much as men do, and they even fantasie but are great about hiding it. That she hates cooking A few years down the line, many relationships run into crisis on this account- many many women just do not like to cook. In our part of the world, girls are raised not only to learn how to cook but to happily cook for other people for the rest of their lives, three times a day. If they cannot live up to that ‘simple’ responsibility, they are complete failures, especially in relationships. Women are therefore happy to pretend to be kitchen genies at the beginning of relationships and would never admit to not just absolutely loving cooking. Rather, they prefer to give their man the impression that they live just to feed him as many times as possible in a day. Unfortunately, that impression is bound to waste when she insists of going out for dinner every so often when the relationship is established. She feels insulted when he gives her money Of course nothing makes your man feel grander than knowing he has met his woman’s need and probably even exceeded her expectations, especially if he had to bend over backwards to do it. Studies show the average woman is actually disappointed almost every time their man gives them a gift, especially when it is money. Truth is, today’s working women have developed very sophisticated tastes that their men can barely keep up with, and they are ready to work very hard when it’s necessary to do so. But would a woman ever complain her man has not even scratched the surface when he gives her cash? Never. She does not trust him For all her freedoms and liberation, a woman is far less likely than a man to voice her insecurities in a relationship that the other way round. She has watched her mother look the other way more often than not. She has heard her aunt tell her uncountable times of how it’s a man’s world. She has been called names just for showing a flash of jealousy and she has been told by the census that there are more women than men. Her girlfriends are telling her to be wise and hold on to her straying man and so while he snoops and snoops and finds nothing, she makes minimal efforts and finds everything but does she ever mention it? Never. The reason that hot new househelp gets a shaven head and the girlfriend is told jokingly to do her top B*ttons up is not because she does not trust her girlfriend or the maid but because she certainly does not trust her man. Her man might ask the question a dozen times- “honey, do you trust me?†and her answer would be a big fat lying “Yesâ€
Glory2019:‘As I speak, I feel like my whole world and life has crumbled before me! I know l must be in a nightmare and when l wake up, it will just be a dream. This cannot happen in real life to me. Why? Where did I go wrong? How did I fail as a mother and a wife? My husband in bed with my daughter. My name is Lovett; everyone who knows me calls me mummy Joy. Joy is my biological child; I had her pregnancy when I was only 18 years old, then I just left secondary school and I thought the world was at my feet. Joy’s dad was everything a young girl of my age would want, so it was a crazy affair l had with him. Reason was thrown to the wind and we did everything we ought not to have done at that age. So, it was not a surprise to my family when l came home pregnant, my parents are from a strong Catholic bar ground, so abortion was out of it. I was made to face reality and I kept the pregnancy. I had Joy nine months later, then l was already nineteen years old, but l still did not know a thing about nursing a baby. My mother took over Joy and I went back to school. I graduated when my mates did and got a job in a Bank, while working there I met Wale and before I knew what was happening we headed for the altar. It has being eight years since I got married to this wonderful man or so I thought and we have two beautiful children. Joy lives with us now because my mother is aged and she is writing Jamb. I travelled to England for a course in my office and I was called back by my Boss. I couldn’t get my husband on phone to tell him of my journey and I still couldn’t get him when l got to Nigeria. So l took a cab home. I saw Wale’s car in the garage and wondered what he was doing home at the time of the day. I went in with my key unannounced. Joy’s room was ajar, so l knew she was around. I went upstairs to the room that I and Wale share and was greeted by the worse porn movie I have ever seen… This is what our Stars have to say Read on… Two options, forgive or… Pat Akpabio , Artiste/ Counselor The woman in question should really feel bad because the husband has really betrayed the trust they share, it is okay for her to be sad and confuse. She should consider the options and weight of every decision she has to take, whether it is a regular hobby for the husband to sleep around or an accident of being carried away. Her husband was caught defiling her sixteen year old daughter, not her friend or neighbour. So, l can understand if she refuses to forgive him, I can also understand if she hates him and wished he was dead. But she can also forgive and decide never to have anything to do with him again or decide to forgive him if he has truly changed and they both can live their lives together amending the past by going for counseling. Above all, even if she decides to leave the man and marriage, she won’t find peace until she finally forgives and let go. So, the most important thing still boils down to forgiveness. Get out of that life Agatha Amata, TV personality You cannot share your husband with your daughter, so naturally somebody has to be dropped in this situation. It cannot be your daughter because she is yours biologically and he is a ware of that fact before he did what he did. He has betrayed your trust and confidence and to me that’s the most important in any relationship. I don’t think l want to be moved by what my husband does outside because men will always be men, but he shouldn’t bring it to my home. He has not only betrayed my trust, he has given me an injury which will never heal by sleeping with my child. And for that reason I will walk away. Walk away! Matse Uwase , Radio Personality The marriage ended the day you caught your husband in bed with your daughter. To be honest, he has not only defiled your bed, but he has proven that he is not a father figure to your children and that he cannot be trusted. I will advice that the lady in this story gathers all her children and start a new life without the man. If she doesn’t then she will have more issues in future that might destroy her. She should also do one thing to relieve her of the stress, she should forgive him, it is only in forgiveness that she will be healed.

Glory2019:…Why she wants God to take her life …What she did when governor won election IYAMHO— MADAM Veronica Uloko, a 132 - year-old super-centenarian from Iyamho community, Etsako clan, Edo State, the hometown of the outgoing Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has uncovered the secret of the governor’s uncommon boldness and power. Curiously, Madam Uloko, who is blind and can no longer walk, wants God to take her life because of the agony she was undergoing over the loss of three of her seven children, especially the 73-year-old son that died in August, this year. •Mama Veronica Uloko She spoke to Niger Delta Voice, NDV, at Iyamho through her 71-year-old son, Obanor, who served as interpreter during the interview. Officially, by the Guinness World Records, the oldest living person in the world is 116-year- old Italian, Emman Morano of Verbani in Italy. Obanor, his son, who said his elder sister is 84 years old, informed us that the death of his elder brother affected the health of their mother, who does not want to live while her children die. Iyamho people‘re not cowards Commenting on Oshiomhole, she said: “Our people in Iyamho are not cowards and they live straight forward life, they do not cheat and they are very bold people and I think that is why God blesses us with long life and wisdom, including Oshiomhole, in Iyamho.†True to her words, outgoing Governor Oshiomhole, indeed, served the state with exceptional heroism and prudence, mouthing it all the time that he was not a coward and would not be bullied by anybody. He boasted that he uprooted what he described as entrenched political godfathers in the state because God did not give him spirit of cowardice. One-leg dance: Madam Uloko, who is excited by Oshimohole’s developmental strides in the state, said: “We are happy that only one man came to rescue us, not only our people, the entire Edo north and Edo state. “God will bless Oshiomhole. When he was announced as the winner, I was dancing with one leg inside because I could not walk as an old woman.†Prayer for Oshiomhole “I pray that Oshiomhole will get another big appointment when he leaves as governor. I thank Oshiomhole for what he has done for our people, when you come to our village, Iyamho; you will not recognize the place again, as people continue to tell me because I can no longer see. I have prayed for him and I will continue to pray for him because he made our people proud,†she added. Asked how she feels at 132 years old, she asserted: “I am very happy that God gave me a long life, but since my son died, I have been praying to God to come and take my life. I cannot remain while my children are dying after getting old.†Gov’s mother visit She went on: “Governor Oshiomhole’s mother came to greet me the other day and I was happy. My father was older than me, but I am not happy at all since my son died and I have been weeping since then. I can no longer see well, I use to see very well but I can no longer see well. I have seven children, but one died three months ago, while two died years ago. So I am not happy at all.†Childless for 12 years “I married at the age of 18 at Olueke. When I was at Olueke, I spent 12 years without a child. So my father advised me to leave the marriage since I could not have any issue with the man. So I came back to my father’s house and spent another four years before I met my husband that we had the four children together. “In fact, before I got married to my second husband, he had nine children already with another woman. We are very happy to have longevity in our family. People in my father’s community, Iyamho, enjoy long life. My father was 87 years before he died; he was the oldest man in Afowa village before he died. Her words: “I thank God for giving me long life and that is all I pray for people today, but I am no longer enjoying it due to the death of my son.†She hates evil – son Her son, Obanor, added: “I am the only one taking care of her now, my wife has been sick and so, I take care of both of them. Sometimes, her daughter that stays in Canada sends money for her upkeep, which is what I always spend. I just gave her afternoon food before you came. We tried to wash her clothes today, but she said we should wait till after seven days. “She always plans her programme, my mother’s father was a native doctor, and then whatever he tells you will surely come to pass. She was following the father, so when my grandfather died, my mother was very close to him. “She used to be the one carrying bags for his father and as at then, they trek to Agenebode on foot. My grandfather was a popular man, anybody who is very sick, they will call him to come and heal the person. My mother will carry the bag and follow my grandfather. If any child has convulsion, my mother cures it.†Obanor asserted: “I am glad we are still alive today. My mother is a very good woman, but do not do her anything evil. She is always praying for everybody to live longer than her. She does not like evil and that is why she is old today. Our eldest sister today is 84, while I am 71. So you can see that God blessed us with age and we are grateful.â€

Toughgray:Adekunle Gold who got quite emotional in an interview with Saturday Beats disclosed that he couldn’t save his sister’s life with all the money he had and this led to the release of the song ‘Ire’ dedicated to her. Adekunle Gold who referred to his sister as his best friend disclosed that she died of heart disease after they spent so much in her treatment. The singer said; My sister was one of the few best friends I had but death took her away. She had a heart-related disease and I thought she could beat the disease but she did not make it. We sang together a lot and we shared the same dream. I was her best friend in the house, so it really shook me when I lost her. I remember her every year and reminisce about the great time we had together. I wish she was alive to celebrate my success with me because this was our dream. The funny thing is that we had the money; it was not that we could not afford to treat her, but it was just unfortunate that she died. If I was as popular back then as I am now, what would I have done differently? I do not think that I would have done anything differently because we spent money on her. I was at home when she died, so by the time I got to the hospital to see her, she had died.

Glory2019:These days, many people have jobs that requi them to stare at computer screens for hours end. This can put a strain on the eyes thereb resulting in reduced work performance and productivity. Fortunately, it is easy to treat, al takes is a few simple changes to your workspace. Cut the glare: Change the lighting around you reduce the effect on your computer screen. If light from a nearby window casts a glare, mo your monitor and close the shades. Ask your employer to install a dimmer switch for the overhead fixtures if they’re too bright, or buy desk lamp with a moveable shade that casts light evenly over your desk. You can also add glare filter to your monitor. Rearrange your desk: The best position for yo monitor is slightly below eye level, about 20 t 28 inches away from your face. You shouldn’t have to stretch your neck or strain your eyes see what’s on the screen. Place any printed material you’re working from on a stand besid your monitor. That way, you won’t have to lo up at the screen and back down at the desk while you type. Give your eyes a break: Follow the 20-20-20 r Look away from the screen every 20 minutes so and look at something around 20 feet awa for about 20 seconds. Blink often to keep you eyes moist. If they feel dry, try some eye dro Tweak your settings: You don’t have to live the factory-installed settings if you’re uncomfortable with it. Adjust the brightness, contrast, and font size until you find what’s b for you. Try computer glasses: Unlike everyday eyewe computer glasses are designed specifically fo looking at computer screens. Visit your Optometrist regularly for exams: L him know about any problems you have. You need glasses or contact lenses. Your optome decides if you can wear your regular glasses computer work or if you need a special pair. might prescribe a single or bifocal lens or tint lens material to boost contrast and filter out glare.
Genjina:Every candidate who has been invited for a job interview needs to do some objective self-assessments after the interview to determine their performance in the interview. To be honest, figuring out your performance in a job interview isn’t always easy. The desire to get the job may becloud your sense of judgment and you may not be objective enough to assess yourself as much as you should. However, there are signs to show that you performed well in a job interview and that the hiring manager may consider you over others. If you notice the followings during or after the job interview, be rest assured the employer is seriously considering you. 1. You have an actual conversation with the hiring manager If your job interview felt more like a relaxed conversation between you and the hiring manager rather than a formal interrogation, you’ve probably impressed the employer in some ways during the conversation. The point here is that, when you impress the hiring managers in an interview, they might get less formal with you and take the conversation to a whole new level. 2. You get positive feedback As you respond to the interview questions, you should also watch out for the interviewers’ feedback. You can look out for their body language to your responses, if they are fully engaged and give positive affirmations to almost everything you say, they will likely consider you for the job. 3. If they include you in their future plan/project If during the job interview the hiring managers discuss how your skill and expertise would be useful for the company’s upcoming project, it means you already have one leg in. What this means is that you have made a substantial impression for the employer to include you in their future plan and even discuss it with you. 4. You get invited for a second job interview Some job interviews come in stages just to eliminate those candidates the company considers misfit for the job. However, if you get invited to a second job interview, it means you did a good job in the first one. All you just need to do is to prepare for the second interview than the first, you might impress them further and meet the Chief Executive Officer after the conversation. 5. They ask you when you can start ‘’When would you like to resume if we eventually employ you.’’ This question may suggest that you’re being considered for the job but the conditional clause in the sentence shows uncertainty. However, if the question comes without the conditional clause, it shows the hiring manager is willing to know about your schedule and availability to determine when you’ll officially join the organization.
Jgenius:We came here for a Presidential debate, not a candidacy debate, and I, Atiku Abubakar can not challenge or question an administration where the man at the helm of the affairs of the nation is not present to defend himself or his policies. After all you cannot shave a man's head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself. As a leader and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, let me first apologise to all Nigerians, my fellow candidates and the moderator for the the APC Presidential Candidates absence in this debate. His non-appearance is a slight on ALL of us and our democracy. Secondly, with all due respect to my fellow candidates, Fela Durotoye, Oby Ezekwesili, Kingsley Moghalu and to the moderator Mark Sugar and with apologies to all Nigerians here and at home expecting an interesting debate, I regret that I will not be able to go on with this debate due to President Buhari's absence. I however challenge President Buhari to choose a date and time for a debate where he will be present and I will be there, hopefully with the other candidates as well. Thank you and God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar
