It is the third meeting to hold under his administration and the first this year.

Those in attendance are the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, former President, Goodluck Jonathan, Governors of Zamfara, Kebbi, Plateau, Lagos, Borno, Ebonyi and members of Cabinet.

That she hates cooking

that ‘simple’ responsibility, they are complete
failures, especially in relationships.
Women are therefore happy to pretend to be

to give their man the impression that they live

Of course nothing makes your man feel

She does not trust him
For all her freedoms and liberation, a woman
is far less likely than a man to voice her
insecurities in a relationship that the other way
round.
She has watched her mother look the other
way more often than not. She has heard her
aunt tell her uncountable times of how it’s a
man’s world. She has been called names just
for showing a flash of jealousy and she has
been told by the census that there are more
women than men.
Her girlfriends are telling her to be wise and
hold on to her straying man and so while he
snoops and snoops and finds nothing, she
makes minimal efforts and finds everything but
does she ever mention it? Never.

nightmare and when l wake up, it will just be a

my journey and I still couldn’t get him when l
got to Nigeria. So l took a cab home.

Clinton49:Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate , Atiku Abubakar, on Monday assured Ekiti people that he would not abandon them if given the opportunity to become the president .
Atiku, who said the All Progressives Congress government had abandoned the state in the areas of roads and federal presence, said he would rehabilitate all the Federal roads leading in and out of the state.
The PDP presidential candidate , who spoke at the Ekitiparapo Pavillion , Ado Ekiti, during his campaign in Ekiti State , said: When we were in the palace of the Ewi of Ado Ekiti, the traditional rulers made a case for roads . My administration will tar all the inter-state roads .
“ We will complete all Federal Government projects in the state. Our government will not promise and fail like President Muhammadu Buhari . We will also restore standard and quality education so that we can give you jobs . ”
Atiku said the Buhari administration was bereft of creative ideas to create jobs, hence the job losses that Nigerian youths had contended with since the present administration got to office .
He said : “ APC doesn’ t know how to create jobs and doesn’ t know how to give you same .
“ We have promised that 40 per cent of our portfolios will go to youths, while 30 per cent will go to women ; that is 70 per cent for youths and women .
“ We know how to do it; we have done it before , we will do it again , ” he assured.
PDP National Chairman , Prince Uche Secondus, cautioned the Independent National Electoral Commission and the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim, against “ plunging the nation into unnecessary chaos by attempting to subvert the mandate of the people in the general elections . ”
Secondus, who expressed optimism that his party would win the February 16 presidential race , alleged that President Buhari failed to fulfill his promises of job creation , fighting insecurity and surmounting the challenge of corruption “ because he is too weak to rule a country as complex as Nigeria. ”
The PDP chairman urged Ekiti people and Nigerians to vote for Atiku to free the country from hunger and suffering, saying: “ We are going to win this election. Look at Atiku, he is tested and trusted in public and private sectors. He is a man that can turn economy around. He has the energy for the job . ”
Senate President Bukola Saraki , urged the people , particularly the youths , to vote Atiku , saying : “ There is no story. Youths , you are the future we need .

“ To do all these, you must know how to do it. Atiku is a man who knows how to create jobs , secure the country and also fight corruption. ”

IYAMHO— MADAM Veronica Uloko, a 132 -
year-old super-centenarian from Iyamho
community, Etsako clan, Edo State, the
hometown of the outgoing Governor of Edo
State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has
uncovered the secret of the governor’s
uncommon boldness and power.
Curiously, Madam Uloko, who is blind and can
no longer walk, wants God to take her life
because of the agony she was undergoing
over the loss of three of her seven children,
especially the 73-year-old son that died in
August, this year.

She spoke to Niger Delta Voice, NDV, at
Iyamho through her 71-year-old son, Obanor,
who served as interpreter during the interview.
Officially, by the Guinness World Records, the
oldest living person in the world is 116-year-
old Italian, Emman Morano of Verbani in Italy.
Obanor, his son, who said his elder sister is 84
years old, informed us that the death of his
elder brother affected the health of their
mother, who does not want to live while her
children die.
Iyamho people‘re not cowards
Commenting on Oshiomhole, she said: “Our
people in Iyamho are not cowards and they
live straight forward life, they do not cheat
and they are very bold people and I think that
is why God blesses us with long life and
wisdom, including Oshiomhole, in Iyamho.”
True to her words, outgoing Governor
Oshiomhole, indeed, served the state with
exceptional heroism and prudence, mouthing it
all the time that he was not a coward and
would not be bullied by anybody.
He boasted that he uprooted what he
described as entrenched political godfathers in
the state because God did not give him spirit
of cowardice.
One-leg dance: Madam Uloko, who is excited
by Oshimohole’s developmental strides in the
state, said: “We are happy that only one man
came to rescue us, not only our people, the
entire Edo north and Edo state.
“God will bless Oshiomhole. When he was
announced as the winner, I was dancing with
one leg inside because I could not walk as an
old woman.”
Prayer for Oshiomhole
“I pray that Oshiomhole will get another big
appointment when he leaves as governor. I
thank Oshiomhole for what he has done for
our people, when you come to our village,
Iyamho; you will not recognize the place again,
as people continue to tell me because I can
no longer see. I have prayed for him and I will
continue to pray for him because he made our
people proud,” she added.
Asked how she feels at 132 years old, she
asserted: “I am very happy that God gave me
a long life, but since my son died, I have been
praying to God to come and take my life. I
cannot remain while my children are dying
after getting old.”
Gov’s mother visit
She went on: “Governor Oshiomhole’s mother
came to greet me the other day and I was
happy. My father was older than me, but I am
not happy at all since my son died and I have
been weeping since then. I can no longer see
well, I use to see very well but I can no longer
see well. I have seven children, but one died
three months ago, while two died years ago.
So I am not happy at all.”
Childless for 12 years
“I married at the age of 18 at Olueke. When I
was at Olueke, I spent 12 years without a
child. So my father advised me to leave the
marriage since I could not have any issue with
the man. So I came back to my father’s house
and spent another four years before I met my
husband that we had the four children
together.
“In fact, before I got married to my second
husband, he had nine children already with
another woman. We are very happy to have
longevity in our family. People in my father’s
community, Iyamho, enjoy long life. My father
was 87 years before he died; he was the
oldest man in Afowa village before he died.
Her words: “I thank God for giving me long life
and that is all I pray for people today, but I am
no longer enjoying it due to the death of my
son.”
She hates evil – son
Her son, Obanor, added: “I am the only one
taking care of her now, my wife has been sick
and so, I take care of both of them.
Sometimes, her daughter that stays in Canada
sends money for her upkeep, which is what I
always spend. I just gave her afternoon food
before you came. We tried to wash her
clothes today, but she said we should wait till
after seven days.
“She always plans her programme, my
mother’s father was a native doctor, and then
whatever he tells you will surely come to
pass. She was following the father, so when
my grandfather died, my mother was very
close to him.
“She used to be the one carrying bags for his
father and as at then, they trek to Agenebode
on foot. My grandfather was a popular man,
anybody who is very sick, they will call him to
come and heal the person. My mother will
carry the bag and follow my grandfather. If
any child has convulsion, my mother cures it.”
Obanor asserted: “I am glad we are still alive
today. My mother is a very good woman, but
do not do her anything evil. She is always
praying for everybody to live longer than her.
She does not like evil and that is why she is
old today. Our eldest sister today is 84, while I
am 71. So you can see that God blessed us
with age and we are grateful.”

Ecobank Nigeria, has disclosed plans to bring banking operations closer to Nigerian neighborhoods by expanding its agent banking locations to 50,000 before the end of 2019.

Managing director of the bank, Mr. Patrick Akinwuntan, who disclosed this during a media chat with journalists in Lagos, explained that the move is in line with the vision of the Pan-African Bank to ensure the financial inclusion of all Nigerians.

According to him, the bank has 400 physical locations in Nigeria, and the aim is to let every household have access to Ecobank services “We have presence in every state in Nigeria. We have a customer base of 9 million in Nigeria, with 400 branches. More interestingly, more than 4,000 agency locations known as Ecobank Xpress point which is our approach to bringing banking to every neighborhood.

“Our ambition is to have 50,000 of such locations this year such that in every neighbourhood you can access Ecobank Xpress point to do cash deposit, withdrawal and actually make it more convenient for customers to open an account, get an instant card and participate in financial economy. Across the group, we have about 4,000 ATMs. In Nigeria we have 2,000 ATMs and we are still expanding the ATM network,” he said.

Speaking on the contribution of Ecobank to Nigerian and African economy, Akinwuntan said the bank has recorded many firsts in the banking industry revolution and introduction of EcobankPay is one of them.

He said, “we have introduced EcobankPay which has brought together all three QR codes available in the country on one platform. EcobankPay accepts and make payment with Masterpass, Mvisa and Mcash. You can have 100 QR codes at no additional cost. You don’t require different number, just one number and you are able to transact. We bringing this digital solution into the economy will enable small businesses to participate more effectively, enables faster savings, reduces risk of insecurity.”

Akinwuntan added that Ecobank will be bringing message of the combination of its POS, EcobankPay, Express Point, ATMs, Ecobank Omni, and Ecobank Omni light to markets and households to enable people interact with the products.

The full meaning of P-YES is Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme. The scheme is structured as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative driven by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Affairs (OSAPYSA). The program is targeted at providing solutions to the challenges of youth unemployment, through the execution of direct empowerment initiatives.
In case you're curious, P-YES is like the NPOWER. However, while Npower beneficiaries are posted to publicly owned establishments such as schools, hospitals etc, P-YES beneficiaries will be trained and empowered on certain areas of vocations and businesses.

P-YES GOALS The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) has been conceived and designed to:
Fight and reduce unemployment among Nigerian youth by creating at least 774,000 empowerment opportunities.
Train and empower youth to have the capacity to empower at least one other youth within his/her immediate community.

Application Requirements and Eligibility
Applicant must be a Nigerian male or female between the ages of 18 and 40.
Applicant must have a means of identification (National Identity card, International Passport, Permanent Voters Card- PVC).
Applicant must provide a Second Level Beneficiary (SLB) to qualify for benefitting from the scheme.
Ability to communicate in Basic English language and or any local Nigerian language.
Provable upright character and a stable mind.
Applicant must provide a guarantor preferably a community or religious leader.
Ability to secure the endorsement of a local government official.
Beneficiary should posses the capacity to transfer knowledge and mentor pairs within their communities.
Applicants can be literate, semi-literate, SSCE, NCE, OND, HND, Bsc, Masters holders 

Nature and Objectives of P-YES Program
The youth will undergo training in multiple vocations such as agriculture, Information technology, fashion, catering, technology acquisition and many other strategic vocations
Successful trainees will be equipped with Seed Empowerment Tools (SET)s such as rice mills, poultry accessories, branded mobile kiosks, farm implements, mobile restaurants, tents, photography units etc.

Abuapeter3:The Czech Republic has decided to pay Nigerians and other migrants to encourage them to leave the central European country.

The offer is under a programme that focuses particularly on migrants from Afghanistan, Iraq, Nigeria, Mongolia, Russia, and Vietnam.

According to a report published on RemixNews, a Czech Republic-based newspaper, the Czech government would pay any migrants who would voluntarily leave the country and other EU countries 4,000 EUR.

The programme tagged ”Returns” established by the Czech Interior Ministry would assist immigrants with transportation costs and integration in their country of origin, including accommodation, household equipment or domestic animal expenses.

”Anyone who voluntarily leaves the country and promises not to return not only to the Czech Republic but to the EU will be eligible for the money,” the report said.

”Allocation for the program amounts to 60 million CZK, 75 percent is to be covered from the European Asylum, migration and integration fund. Each individual could get funds ranging between 40,000 and 100,000 CZK. First funded returns should be processed in the third quarter of 2019.”
